Well, I picked this 1989 Nissan 240SX up for $1000. Automatic, SOHC(single over head cams) interior is in pretty good condition. The corner panels on the left and right have a bunch of dents and what not. Runs good, i think there is a leak in the engine coolant and the engine oil(under the head of the engine).I just found out too that those are Stock rims, very rare to find, also the color of the car (silver) use to be a hard find. I feel kinda lucky. Very Happy

Im thinking that i will drop a 5 spd into it. From a s14 ( a later 240sx model) the driver seat wont stay up straight so it feels like im driving with my back layed out. one arm fully extended to the steering wheel, and the other out the window

Must have been previously owned by a "Gangsta"!

Check for two things:

1) Bullet holes and food stamps (owned by real gangsta)

2) Mommy's grocery list. (owned by middle class white boy who thinks he the O.G. while driving mom and dads old car with his hat to one side with Vanilla Ice playing on the blown speakers)

It def needs a manual... But i need the cash for that!!
It really needs a tune up, engine oil, transmission oil, brake fluid, engine coolant, radiator needs to have some work. I think the exhaust was ghetto rigged.. It droops way too low and the weldments suck ass! I probably could have done a better job than that! (and im still learning stuff about fabrication).
